"Genuine leather" doesn't mean much. It's the label brands stick on the weakest, thinnest cut of hide they can get away with selling. Full-grain sits at the other end of that spectrum entirely: the outer layer, unsanded, unsplit, grain left exactly as nature made it. That's what's under this jacket's vintage brown finish. Run a hand across it, and you'll notice the color isn't flat. It shifts. Lighter in some patches, darker where the wax sits heavier. A dyed synthetic can't fake that kind of variation, no matter how good the tannery.
